This weekend the French Festival returns to Oak Park. This is the 23rd year and will be a huge party. Over 20,000 attendees are expected so arrive early for your Latte and Croissant. Admission is Free. Starts Saturday July 17th and runs through Sunday.
There will be continuous free entertainment on three stages, including cancan, Moroccan belly dancers, grand opera, Cajun and classical groups, folk dancing, Tahitian dancing, jazz, and cabaret music in the tradition of Edith Piaf and Maurice Chevalier. Wandering mimes, jugglers, and accordion players will perform throughout the crowd.
Quite a great day considering you don't have to leave home.
Enjoy.
